Members of the Moorman Lab are studying a range of topics broadly related to the relationship between neural circuit function and behavior.
We are particularly interested in how neural function in areas of the brain such as the frontal cortex, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and striatum (among others) is associated with motivation and cognitive control.
We are also interested in translational implications of these questions, including in the context of drug and alcohol use and dependence, mood and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, and neurodegenerative disease.
Specific projects will be described below soon.
